Cisco AI Assistant adds locales in GA and Controlled Availability

Two locales reach general availability for Cisco AI Assistant and ten more enter Controlled Availability, including Arabic, Russian and several Asia-Pacific languages.

What changed

Cisco expanded AI Assistant language support. Dutch (nl-BE) and English (en-SG) are new in general availability. Arabic (ar-SA, ar-AE), Croatian (hr-HR), English (en-PH), Filipino (fil-PH), Irish (ga-IE), Kannada (kn-IN), Latvian (lv-LV) and Russian (ru-RU) are new in Controlled Availability.

Why it matters

Language coverage often decides whether AI assistance can be rolled out to a regional site at all. The split matters: GA locales can be planned normally, while CA locales are limited-access and should be treated as pilots until Cisco moves them to GA.

REVIEW

Map the new locales to sites that were waiting on language support. Plan GA locales normally, and for CA locales, confirm access with Cisco and pilot before committing rollout dates.
