What changed
AWS expanded Amazon Connect Customer data tables to hold up to 20,000 values per table for configuration such as operating hours, escalation rules, AI agent prompts and queue assignments used by contact flows. Administrators can export tables, edit hundreds of records, move tables between instances, and load reference data from sources such as Excel and DynamoDB.
Vendor documentation (opens in a new tab)Why it matters
More flow configuration can live in governed tables that business teams update themselves, rather than being hard-coded in flows. That shifts the risk from flow deployments to data changes, so access control and change review on the tables matter more.

Action
REVIEWIdentify flow settings that change often, such as hours or escalation rules, and evaluate moving them to data tables with record-based access control and an export-based backup before bulk edits.
