26.4 blocks saving Studio scripts with END in ONRELEASE; calling list names are restricted

Web Studio will refuse to save scripts whose ONRELEASE branch contains END, and Personal Connection calling list names may only use letters, numbers, hyphens and underscores. Both need cleanup.

What changed

The 26.4 release notes add Studio script validation: when a script is saved, Studio checks for an END action inside an ONRELEASE branch and will not save the script until it is removed. NICE explains that END triggers ONRELEASE, so END inside that branch causes problems, and no replacement is needed because the branch ends on its own. Separately, Personal Connection calling list names now support only letters, numbers, hyphens and underscores; spaces and characters such as : / ? # @ & % are unsupported because they make some operations fail to locate the list. Existing lists are not renamed automatically.

Why it matters

Neither change breaks a running script or campaign on day one, but both can stop routine work: an urgent script fix cannot be saved until the END is removed, and lists with unsupported names can fail in operations that look them up. Cleaning up beforehand avoids discovering this during an incident or a campaign launch.

Implementation considerations

ACTION REQUIRED

Search Studio scripts for END actions inside ONRELEASE branches and remove them, then review Personal Connection calling list names and rename any that use spaces or other unsupported characters, updating any automation that references the old names.

CxCave recommendation, not a vendor mandate unless explicitly stated.
