Webex AI Agent adds Pro 2.0 engines

Cisco introduced Webex AI Pro 2.0 engine options and recommends testing existing agents before moving from the 1.0 engines.

What changed

Cisco upgraded Webex AI Agent from GPT-4.1 to GPT-5.4 through the Webex AI Pro 2.0, Pro US 2.0 and Pro EU 2.0 engine options. Cisco recommends upgrading existing agents and states that support for the 1.0 engines ends February 15, 2027.

Why it matters

A model upgrade can change how instructions are followed even when the business workflow is unchanged. Regression testing is more useful than assuming that a newer engine behaves identically in every production conversation.
